Frequently asked questions
- Where do the numbers come from?
- From you and from the sources on each calculator. The three tools start with rates from university extension guides and product labels, each with its source and date, and you overwrite them with your own area, grass type, bag and prices. The plan recomputes exactly what you saved in this browser, with the same maths as the free pages; nothing is fetched live.
- Which calendar do I get?
- One of three, month by month as published: Purdue Extension's maintenance calendar for cool-season lawns (northern US), Clemson Extension's bermudagrass program for warm-season lawns (southern US), or the RHS spring, summer and autumn care pages with Rolawn's overseeding months for the UK. The plan picks it from your grass type and region; you can override it on the plan. Months a source does not cover say so rather than inventing a task.
- Is this agronomic advice?
- No. The quantities are planning arithmetic on published rates, and the calendar is a published schedule for a whole climate. A soil test, your own grass and weather, and your extension office decide what your lawn actually needs; the label on the bag wins.
- What if I have not used the calculators yet?
- Use at least one first: sod, grass seed or fertilizer. Each keeps its inputs in this browser, so the plan shows links to them until one has been used; the preview on this page then shows your own figures.
- Is Pro a subscription?
- It depends on the plan you pick above. A monthly plan renews until you cancel it from the Manage subscription link shown once Pro is open; a one-time purchase is paid once and stays open for good.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You pay on Stripe's page and come back here; Pro opens in this browser and stays open. For another browser or device, ask for your access link by email on this page.
- What about VAT or sales tax?
- Stripe is the merchant of record. Any tax that applies where you are is shown at checkout, and the receipt or invoice comes from Stripe by email.
- Can I get a refund?
- Pro opens the moment you pay. If it does not do what this page says, write within 14 days and you get a full refund. Details on the refund policy page.
- What do you store about me?
- Nothing on our servers. The checkout reference and the answer from the verification service are kept in this browser's local storage; the email you type at checkout goes to Stripe for the receipt and lets you reopen Pro elsewhere.
